We are committed to being transparent about our materials and working practices. We strive towards being a sustainable business and our ethics guide every decision we make. We create jewellery that has been made sustainably, for those who are eco-conscious.
All staff and outworkers helping to create our designs are based in the UK, work in safe and legal conditions and are paid fairly for the work they do. This helps us to support women working in the jewellery trade here in the UK.
Our packaging is plastic free, FSC certified and recycled and/or recyclable.
Metals
We see and acknowledge the duality of mining of metals in the modern world. We use 100% recycled metals to reduce the demand for new mines. However we also use and encourage Fairtrade, Fairmined and SMO (single mine origin) gold because the people at the source of these supply chains rely on mines to support their families.
Gemstones & Diamonds
We ensure all our natural gemstones are conflict free and from trusted suppliers. We can provide certified diamonds as standard and certified gemstones where requested.
We also utilise laboratory-grown diamonds with certain designs for lower impact.
Workshop Practices
We always re-use scrap metal in the workshop to reduce waste. Whatever cannot be reused will be refined and returned to the supply chain. Bespoke pieces are made to order and we create collections in small batches, reducing waste as much as possible
